A budgeting range for your house in a few inputs, built on typical Seattle-area and national ranges. It updates as you type, and the link saves your inputs.

Budgeting range

$1,470 to $2,575

| 5-inch seamless aluminum gutters | $1,200 to $1,950 150 ft at $8 to $13 per linear foot (typical Seattle-area range, 5-inch seamless aluminum installed) |
| --- | --- |
| Downspouts | $120 to $300 4 at $30 to $75 each (national budgeting range, standard aluminum downspout); taller runs, copper and buried connections cost more |
| Taking down old gutters | $150 to $325 $150 to $325 per job (typical Seattle-area range, take down and haul away) |

> - Fascia repair, buried downspout connections and difficult access are not included; they are priced after the walk-around.
>
> - Washington sales tax applies to the whole contract, labor included: 10.4% at most Kent addresses. It is not added to these figures.

This is arithmetic on published budgeting ranges, not a quote and not Gutters of Kent’s rates. The walk-around sets the real number.

## How the estimate is built

Each line multiplies your input by a published range: about $8 to $13 per linear foot for 5-inch seamless aluminum (a typical Seattle-area range), about $15 to $40 per foot for copper (a national budgeting range), about $30 to $75 per standard downspout (national), about $150 to $325 to take down old gutters (Seattle-area), and about $4 to $11 per foot for mesh guards (Seattle-area) or $15 to $45 per foot for an installed guard system (national).

It does not add a percentage for a second story or for 6-inch gutters, because there is no reliable published figure for either; it tells you when they push a job toward the high end instead. Fascia repair, buried downspout connections and hard access are left out because they can only be priced on site. Washington sales tax, 10.4% at most Kent addresses, applies to the whole contract and is not included. The [Kent gutter cost guide](https://guttersofkent.com/guide/gutter-installation-cost-kent/) explains each range.
